Beyond documentation
Practical guides and interactive examples for working in Beyond.
Beyond helps you track time, manage projects and prepare invoices. Read about features and see interface examples with demonstration data.
Get started
If you are setting up a new workspace, start with your first work entry:
- Create a client and project to organize work for a customer. For hourly billing, set a rate.
- Record time worked: choose a date, project and duration. Use the timesheet to enter hours across several days.
- Open a report and check hours by project and client for the period you need.
- When you need to bill a client, prepare an invoice. Invoice creation is available starting with Starter.
If you joined a team, projects may already be set up: start by recording time against a project available to you. The Dashboard helps you follow your results; Smart checks help you catch gaps and unfinished actions as you continue working.

Illustrations show how features appear in the interface using synthetic data. To apply a setting to your own workspace, open Beyond and follow the instructions.
About these guides
These guides describe the current documentation build; availability on your server depends on its installed version. Workspace settings follow your role permissions. Documentation cannot change access rights.
Documentation sections
- Getting started and Dashboard — metrics, first steps and reminders.

- Clients, projects and rates.

- Publish time for a client and client portal.
- Settings, team and invitations, security.
- Plans and limits, data and AI through MCP.

A Starter or Pro badge identifies the minimum subscription for the marked feature or action. Mixed articles distinguish free actions explicitly. A subscription does not grant role permissions or broaden access to financial data.
