Publish a timesheet
Publish a timesheet in Beyond.
Publication creates a separate cumulative client timesheet. Editing working entries does not automatically make those changes public. Owners and Admins can publish on Pro and Business; link access is explained under client portal.
Prepare and check
- Open Prepare publication from the client portal or Time.
- Select an inclusive period of up to 366 days.
- Select projects; no project selection means all eligible client projects.
- Select prepared entries or whole days. Use Select all or Clear selection as needed.
- Open the preview and inspect additions, updates and removals.
- Choose Publish. Changes in the selected scope apply together.
The preview shows the client-facing result. Also check money visibility and performer names: those are portal-level settings rather than per-row choices. If source data changes after preview, refresh the preview and publish again.
A cumulative snapshot
Previously published rows within the selected scope refresh together. Unselected rows that were never published remain private. Published information does not disappear merely because its source entry was edited or deleted.
To remove an old snapshot after deleting or moving an entry, explicitly publish its former dates and projects. If an entry moved outside the selected scope, include its former location first: a new row cannot silently overwrite a snapshot belonging to another scope.
Published and Changed markers in Time help identify differences. Clients receive prepared snapshots rather than live access to working drafts. Project tabs and the timeline derive from published data, with complete scoped totals independent of list pagination.
Publication does not mean approval, invoice issue or email delivery. There is no user rollback action; correct the source and publish a newly checked scope. Downgrade preserves snapshots but stops public access until an eligible plan returns.
