Activity history
Activity history in Beyond.
Activity shows changes in the current workspace: who created, edited, archived or deleted a record, when it happened and which values changed. Owners and administrators can use the workspace feed on every plan.
Find a change
- Open Activity in Beyond’s navigation.
- Select a member, record type or date range.
- Read events from newest to oldest; load more records to move further back.
- Follow an available record link to check its current state.
Filters are preserved in the address. On narrow screens, member and record-type selectors appear in the filter panel, while the date range remains separate. Reset returns to the unfiltered feed. If no changes match, widen the period or remove filters; an empty result does not mean history was deleted.
Each row includes the actor, time, record and action description. Supported changes include details such as old and new names or durations. The source distinguishes interface actions, imports, system changes and MCP writes. An AI write remains an action by the authorized user, and the client name can appear alongside it.
Permissions and other logs
The feed belongs to the current workspace. Members cannot read the general team feed: individual-record history follows their access permissions, and time-entry history follows own-author isolation. Money visibility does not unlock colleagues’ time, salary rates or team billing. Personal time plans do not appear in shared history.
The bell delivers selected significant events to you personally and tracks read state. Activity helps investigate record changes and does not depend on popup preferences. The MCP call log shows your tool calls and outcomes, including reads; it does not replace a business record’s change history.
Support changes retain their source in history. Check personal protection settings in Security and actual assistance connections in Support access.
